Is she named after Devin White's previous horse?

Where do you live? How does she get along with other dogs and cats?

That's when we would move out.

Currently staying with family in Jennings, LA

She's never had an issue with other dogs living with her. She gets along great with the two smaller dogs that my family members have where we are staying.

Thanks. It's also the right answer. Not an easy answer necessarily but the right one. Since you're living with someone else I'm sure your stuff is still packed up. Renting on a short term lease would be the first option I'd look at considering you're rebuilding. A dog loving landlord may be willing work with you if your situation is explained to them. We love our dogs. We'd find a way to make it work. I'd be thinking outside the box to figure out a way to keep my dog.

Best of luck man....not being hard on you. Just trying to help.

Good looking pup. Wish we were close enough to Jennings to have our dogs meet and see if it could work. Too far though.

the issue is - your all quick to say stuff like this, but not everyone is in a position to be able to make what you feel is an easy call. we can only take his word that this is his only alternative, but at some point you just have to trust that he is makign the decision as best he can.

he didnt ditch the dog at the pund, or just drop it off somewhere and abandoned it - he is making an effort to rehome the dog, which shows he does care about it's well being.

sometimes you have to make a really hard decision, and don't really want to and don't have an alternative - but it doesnt give some of the you the right to shite on him for it.

OP i hope it works out and you can give her to another family that will care for her the way you have.

Bitch, read my post again! My exact words were "Not an easy answer". Can you not read? And, I don't need a lesson on dogs and their rehoming. I gave the guy an alternative (temporarily move and lease). Maybe you're confusing me with Mingo? Either way, learn to read them sentences baw.

I appreciate the sentiment but I am not driving five 1/2 hours (splitting the difference from Tampa area) to find that my dog does not get along with his dog. Hoping he finds someone who can take her in.
