Captain Nautica was owned by folks I knew, none of us had a clue what was happening with Epstein when I was down there. The more popular spot was a cove on the other side of great st James but they probably snorkeled little st James to avoid the crowds.

This is the answer and not unlike the Boy Scouts. The crime as abhorrent as it is occurring is something practically impossible to prevent 100% in institutions where adult/child interaction is common. The idea that apparent non-pedophiles go out of their way on an institutional level to cover it up is beyond comprehension. It is an albatross the Catholic church shot, strung, and hung around their own necks.



The OP is reaching though. It is unlikely the snorkeling guide service ever beached the RIB and likely did not have permission to anyway. I have been on 100s of snorkeling and dive trips and have never once set foot on any island we were snorkeling off of. They normally have permanent anchors set with buoys holding up the anchor line that the boots hook to. They also don't let kids go without parents.
