No shite

Roger is even less nuanced than I gave him credit for. Not an easy thing to do.

Lady, you did everything you could to downplay the situation and spread misinformation.

I clearly labeled it as rumors and only ONE of those rumors is now said to be untrue. It’s not misinformation when it’s clearly label as rumors and you’re told to take it for what it’s worth. If that were the case, this board should just shut down. In fact, my post proved to hold more actual truth than any of the “self defense” bs posted by so many others.

Anyway… this sucks for your community and it will probably get worse. It looks like the murderer, his supporters, and his legal team is determined to tear your city apart

On this, we agree. I’m wondering how long this community can continue to feel like it’s not in the middle of an ugly spotlight. This is a much bigger topic online than on the local streets but that can’t continue much longer. We are definitely going to see something locally sooner or later.

I'd say they are one and the same. Their only associations are skin color.

I;'d love to be pissed about a racial killing, this aint one.

KA's trashy arse family doing everything they can to turn this into a race issue. No surprise. They need to keep grifting people. No wonder their kid is a POS thug.

And amazingly AM's dad left without stabbing anyone when asked to leave.

Austin broke Karmelo‘s phone a couple days ago. I don’t know much about the events surrounding this so we don’t know how it happened.

Karmelo and Austin were both competing in the track meet for different schools.

Austin was sitting in a tent put up for his HS’s track members while Karmelo’s school had a tent set up for their athletes nearby.

Karmelo came to sit under Austin’s school tent and there was a few minutes of rising tension. Austin grabbed Karmelo’s bag and threw it out of their tent towards Karmelo’s school tent.

This led to a fight where Austin threw the first punch.

They were surrounded by coaches, athletes and school officials and the fight would have been broken up almost immediately. However, Karmelo pulled out a knife and stabbed Austin. He brought a knife onto school property during a sanctioned school event.

When I say that race didn’t contribute to this crime, I mean that Karmelo likely would have stabbed Austin under these exact same circumstances no matter what his race was. This was a situation that was brewing over a couple days.

Everything I’ve posted is alleged and comes from the perspective of 16-18 year olds. My heart breaks for two families in my community today.

I truly don’t understand which part of this post rustled so many jimmies.

Well, to be fair, that was before his family went all over the news and social media sharing actual misinformation and grifting for money.

it’s “disrespectful” for Austin Metcalf’s father to attend

But it’s not disrespectful to be in another school’s area at a track event in the first place and then not leave when asked. Or murder the person telling him he needed to leave their area…

Did the father even say anything or cause a disruption?

The incident in this YouTube video will probably be brought up. Sundown town, for sure! A Frisco PD officer typed the wrong plate info into the system and an unnecessary felony stop was performed on this black family.

But I think the officer who typed the wrong info was a black woman so…..?

Grrrl, I was just reading the beginning of this thread.. I didn't know you were an OG.

The story about you being on the tennis court when shots rang out in some woods and being the only one hitting the ground is pretty funny,

So.. ya got white people, ya got black people, hispanic people, other people... then, ya got BLUE people.

Any race/ethnicity/sex can be a blue person.

Once a person is blue, they cease to have any other defining characteristics.

Unless it's a white/blue that shoots a you-know-who...

anyway, thems the rules.

Good point!

If we are respecting designated spaces... this is how it should go.
