LOL they put it in there alright.

Gotta search a bit.

Roles were reversed this is national news, front page. AA would be burning down stores in Frisco.

Yeah, all 10 of them.

Race doesn’t have the same emphasis here. Stop injecting race into this situation. It’s a big enough tragedy for our town without injecting more outrage.

I’m honestly surprised that you would be from Louisiana, live in Frisco and not already be part of the group. We tend to find each other

I have no doubt this shithead would have also stabbed a black kid for no reason as well. I don’t think race played a part at all here. Black thugs love to kill black people all the time

Would the legacy media have jumped on this if the races were reversed? Absofrickinglutely

But we now have an alternate media that jumps on every situation like this so it’s staring to even out.

The boy stopped track 2 years ago when he got so into weight lifting. It burned too many calories while he was trying to bulk. Upside is he brought home his cap, gown & announcements today along with all other Frisco seniors. Bittersweet for some people today.

I've seen it all over Twitter. CBS, ABC, NBC, USA Today all have stories about it

I checked a few main pages of sites you listed and quit scrolling after awhile of not seeing this story. On NBC under US news the top of the list was the Ole Miss student which pales in comparison to getting murdered. The ole miss student story was written yesterday and still at the top.

The point most people are making is not that they don’t report stuff like this, but the visibility of reports on news shows or on main page of site including being lead story, quantity of these reports, the focus on secondary talk shows about the news, how long the story emphasized by the news, and the focus on the races of the perp & victim including any racism involved and possible outside political instigators is much different when a black attacks a white person than when a white person attacks a black person.

They way that they are handling this particular story at the national level may be the correct way to do it, but it is not at all how they handle any situation where a black is a victim of a white person.

Twitter is flooded with this story

Legacy media won’t cover it too hard, but they will have it

I’m actually surprised it’s getting the national coverage it’s getting. While it’s a huge story locally, it’s not exactly unheard of nationwide. It’s just that Frisco is such an insulated bubble with nearly no annual murders and very low crime so we are unprepared for events like this as a society.

i have two related questions:

why did Karmello have a knife at a track meet? secondly, what county did the incident take place in?

It’s getting nationwide coverage because it’s a mixed race crime

White on white or black on black and it would have been mainly local

Collin County, Texas
