A friend, who is a teacher, taught a kid who was a male, but identified as a female. He dressed like a girl, wore makeup, and didn't really have a masculine voice.

The kid's mother told her that he has always identified as a girl. Despite the fact he had a penis, even as a kid, he naturally gravitated to things associated as feminine and there were times when they had to force him to do certain things that he didn't want to do, but because he had a penis it was expected that he did those things.

I think she meant if he was in school and they separate the boys and the girls, he would always automatically want to go with the girls, but couldn't.. Because.. Well.. He had a penis. Not sure what his future has in store, but..

Correct, it is very sad. Suicide is very high for trans. I wish people would help rather than encourage. But PC culture is killing these people.

I have a friend whose son was born with male chromosomes and ambiguous genitalia. Being born with a congenital sex defect is about as common as being born with red hair.

The transgender topic is confusing and controversial but you never know what people are going through. Just do your best to be supportive.

There may be some people latching onto being transgender (who aren't really) for other reasons. But hell, why do I care? If it's not real, they'll figure it out.

I think you have 4 types of transgenders:

1. The autogynephiles - an autogynephile is a man who is sexually aroused by the thought of him being a woman. These guys generally are the crossdressers who crossdress for the sexual arousal and gratification. I think you have some of these guys who take it too far and feel the need to be a full time woman so they go tranny. What these guys really need is help. I think most of the older transgenders and transgender suicides fall in this group because they go too far and realize it's all a mistake at some point.

2. The trannys who go transgender because its their way of trying to be socially accepted and fit in. These transgenders are usually younger teenagers who are heavily influenced by the internet and by those who actually accept them in their group. These types are marginalized teenagers who are not accepted by the cool crowd at their school, and find themselves only being accepted by the fringe groups with radical views. So they go transgender to fit in as its the ultimate virtue signal, ultimate call for attention and the ultimate way to show that you are trendy and progressive, which is how you really fit into these fringe groups these days.

Just look at the streaming community for gaming - you have so many trannys on there. My theory is that they got no attention and no viewers streaming as a regular male, so they go tranny to get more attention and be more accepted by the gaming community. A regular male streaming gets no viewers but a tranny streaming will get a huge increase in viewers because of all the virtue signaling gamers out there who feel the need to bend over backward to support trannys.

3. The trannys who go transgender as a last resort. Their life has been a failure to them, they are social outcasts and not really accepted by the cool crowd. Similar to the group of trannys above, only this being a bit different in that they go tranny as a last gasp effort to shake things up and give their life a new meaning. "I've been such a loser and failure up to this point, is it because I am a loser? No way! It's got to be some other reason! Hey! I know why! It's because I should have been born a girl! That's why! Yeah! That's the reason!" and they go transgender thinking it will fix all their problems but it doesn't. I think a lot of the suicides fall in this group as well.

4. The actual transgenders - the ones who were actually born this way. I think this group does exist, but it's a very very small percentage of transgenders, I think most trannys make up #1-#3.

I think that the fact most trannys are male to female proves that most trannys are full of shite and not a part of group #4. I am convinced most trannys are a result of social factors, outside influence and upbringing.
