Adhom aside, I think the point I am making is that most trannys are that way due to societal influences. And the fact that most trannys are male to female should be the only evidence you need to prove it. If it were biological and genetic you'd have just as many female to males as you do male to females.
I think Bruce Jenner fell into category 1. He was probably an autogynephile. And it's not surprising. People every day are bombarded with advertisements, propaganda, voices saying that women are the standard of beauty, everything beautiful revolves around women, and how great women are. They see women get the benefit of doubt on so many things and as if the world revolves around them. So a lot of men, especially vulnerable autogynephiles, will feel inadequate and some will go transgender in order to feel validated. Combine that with Bruce Jenner being surrounded by all the Kardashian women, who like it or not, are a beauty standard in todays society, probably got jealous. That's the best word to describe autogynephiles - jealous. Autogynephiles are not only attracted to women, but attracted to them so much that they want to BE those women instead of BE WITH those women.
I think groups 2 and 3 have a lot of overlap. The one constant between the two being that these men were never a part of the "in" crowd. They were never "normal", as in, didn't play sports in high school or were not a part of the popular crowd. The main difference being group 2 did have a crowd of friends, while group 3 were probably outcasts and really only found groups of acceptance on the internet. Group 2 skews younger - its full of middle school/high school kids. These days the younger generations feel the need to have a label attached - they have been brainwashed to believe being a normal straight white male is a bad thing. They all feel the need to identify as something in order to stand out and be different and get attention at the same time. What better way to do so and be seen as trendy and socially progressive at the same time.
Group 3 is older, probably past high school, just looking for meaning in their life. These guys mostly are loners and introverts, who are a part of online communities but have little to no social life in real life. However these online communities are similar to the real life communities influencing Group 2 in that they are progressive, fringe and will celebrate shite like transgenderism.
I do believe Group 4 exists, but it's really rare, and probably has more overlap with Group 1 than Groups 2 or 3. I think Group 1 is a "false positive" of the born this way justification. Group 1 autogynephiles believe that since they get sexually aroused by crossdressing and imagining themselves as a woman, that they must have been born that way. I think the sexual arousal is proof that they do not fall into Group 4 - Group 4 doesn't get aroused by it.
