Friday hypothetical

Would you rather spend a year in a submarine(you're submerged the whole year), or a year in minimum security prison?
For a claustrophobic like myself I'm taking prison. I get to go outside every day and get bulked up. Might have to drop the soap once or twice but it is what it is.
Rules:
This is just a one year leave from your current life and you will be paid your normal salary.
It won't affect your criminal record not will it further your career
Submarine is a modern day naval sub

Neither will show up on your record. It's just a one year sabbatical and you will receive your current yearly salary either way.
For the type of submarine I'd just assume a standard modern naval one.

I'll take a year on an Ohio Class any day, reluctantly take a LA, Seawolf or Virginia, at least you have freedom and you don't have to worry about Leroy beating your arse to death

ETA: I'd go with the submarine. Even when it gets boring and starts feeling like prison, at least you know you are somewhere that very few people have gone. And you don't have to worry about Cletus in the shower.
