Load your "gift card" account with $100. They give you $5 free.

$5 is $5 folks, even if you are a baller. You know youll end up burning that $100 on amazon anyway.

You could also get the Amazon Card and get a credit. These offers have been around for a while.

Why deal with traffic, people, lines and the possibility of the store not having it when you can order online, go about your day and get it in 2 days?

If you load it with your Amazon Rewards card you'll get 3% back. Now you're up to a free $8.

3% Back: You'll earn 3% Back for each $1 of eligible purchases made at Amazon.com. 3% Back applies only to purchases made at Amazon.com (including digital downloads, Amazon.com Gift Cards, Amazon Fresh orders, Amazon Prime subscription, and items sold by third-party merchants through Amazon.com's marketplace).

Their customer service has taken an absolutely nosedive lately. Going to cancel my prime ASAP.

Long story short ordered a prime Halloween costume for my son. Ordered on Friday, said it wouldn't arrive until Wednesday, even though it was prime and in stock, ok whatever. Wednesday I got an email stating the item was delayed and they had no idea when they could get it to me. Contacted vendor on Friday, they told me to contact amazon directly. Contacted Amazon, customer svc rep and supervisor sound like they were operating from a different country. They rehashed items I had mentioned to them, like yes I had received the other items I had purchased in the order.

Asked about a timetable going forward, and why I wasn't notified the item was out of stock originally rather than wasting a week. No real resolution just them talking in circles.

Emailed customer service thereafter and received a blanket email about the different features of amazon prime with no method to follow up with them.

It's amazing that in this day and age that people are still surprised that large corporations have outsourced their customer service to overseas providers in an effort to keep costs down. Mainly because they know you aren't going anywhere.

What were you expecting?

From what is constantly raved to be a company that provides top notch customer service I'd expect more than that.

Morris and his wife Esther went to the state fair every year, and every year Morris would say, "Esther, I'd like to ride in that helicopter".

Esther always replied, "I know Morris, but that helicopter ride is 50 dollars -- and 50 dollars is 50 dollars".

One year Esther and Morris went to the fair, and Morris said, "Esther, I'm 85 years old. If I don't ride that helicopter, I might never get another chance."

Esther replied, "Morris that helicopter is 50 dollars -- and 50 dollars is 50 dollars".

The pilot overheard the couple and said, "Folks I'll make you a deal. I'll take the both of you for a ride. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and not say a word I won't charge you! But if you say one word, it's 50 dollars."

Morris and Esther agreed and up they went. The pilot did all kinds of fancy maneuvers, but not a word was heard. He did his daredevil tricks over and over again, but still not a word. When they landed, the pilot turned to Morris and said, "By golly, I did everything I could to get you to yell out, but you didn't. I'm impressed!"

Morris replied, "Well, to tell you the truth, I almost said something when Esther fell out, but you know -- 50 dollars is 50 dollars."

More than "that?"

I forgot - you can't get good customer service from people in other countries.
