Damn gonna put a pinch on parking……need to bomb the hell out of the back part of Tigerland to make it safer and put a parking garage just west of Akasha.

I remember seeing the renderings a while back. Three levels overlooking and turf-like area in the middle. Basically taking the place of the tent that they currently have up. Will make every other Tigerland bar look worse than they already are.

Chimes Street, State Street and Highland Rd around those two streets should be so much more than it is. It was terrible what they built when they razed the old University Shopping Center. Could have oriented everything toward W. State, with parking in the back, and built up a nice pedestrian friendly sort of two street dining and bar area, incorporating things like the Chimes/Varsity that were already there.
