Apparently, my son was on something called "Acid," and was shooting a bow and arrow into a crowd

There is an almost 3 hour compilation of all of his letterman appearances on YouTube. It's pretty funny.

He was on Jimmy Kimmel regularly until the Covid. He looked to be in pretty good shape mentally and physically.

I liked him opposite Martin Mull on "Fernwood 2 Night" and his appearances on "Everybody Loves Raymond" playing Debra's father opposite Georgia Engle.

I actually wasn't crazy about him on that show. He comes from a different style of comedy than conventionally earnest sitcom acting (which seemed beyond him).

I've seen clips of his interview w/the Museum of TV. Even there he seemed to be putting on an act.

Man, I just looked at his IMDB page. He stayed busy until the end. Everything from tv to animated shows and movies. Hell of a career.

One of my all time favorites lines:

I worked some shows with some folkies you know.

Putem in a cellar with a long hose on em

I used to say if he has a long enough hose he’ll have a lot of friends in the shower room..... folk musicians hated that joke.

I can’t do my work!

Can you name two men who were shot in the back of the head in a theater?

Abe Lincoln

The guy sitting in front of Pee Wee Herman

No. He was arrested because everyone in the theater started beating off when he appeared on screen.
