Franklin was a great destination up until 8-10 years ago. It's too busy now.

Same number as Texas and more than California despite being a much smaller state than either of them

I agree. Franklin is basically another Brentwood. -- which is still pretty damn good.

But if I had to move to Nashville area, I'd look in the Nolensville area.

Somewhere, David Letterman is proud of Indiana.

Wish Louisiana would step its game up. Sad!

I found some beautiful land outside of Lebanon that is awesome. Thinking about getting it.

Working class town with not a lot of "crime" and great hunting. Not too far from Nashville.

Which is about #73 on my list. That's why these lists are so subjective and stupid. I'm not arguing for where I live but I doubt that you and I would agree on any of the 5 best places to live.

I lived in Thompson's Station before I moved to Florida. I really liked it there. It had the country feel, but I was just minutes from Franklin and Spring Hill. I love downtown Franklin. The Cool Springs area is nice, but not any different than any other nice suburb.

Far too busy and prices have skyrocketed. I work in Brentwood, and the traffic is just unbelievable on all of I65 S.

The infrastructure in the Nashville area has not been able to keep up with the population boom. I lived in South Williamson County and commuted into downtown Nashville. It went from decent to terrible in a 2 year span.

12 South my friend. It may take an extra 5-10 minutes over fast moving 65 but you get to pass through 12s every afternoon and there are heels everywhere

Why would you bother with 65 ever?

Texas, Mississippi and Tennessee representing the SEC!!!

The landmass between these states is a pure shite hole, why do you even live there? Go to LSU and get the phuck out.

If you scroll through the list, click on some of the towns, check out the pics and houses...

Should rename the list to: Most Privileged Places For Whites to Live in US.

Almost every single town on that list is just a white flight bedroom community with overpriced ugly as shite cookie cutter housing and dog parks.

ETA: If you are looking for a safe place to raise a family then it is a great list.
