My brother lived there after he graduated college in the early 2000s. Very expensive, yet nice looking place to live that's close to Nashville yet away from the big city hassle.

We recently traveled back there about a year ago, and it's still a nice place to live, but it has gotten a lot bigger. It's bigger in a good way though, I think.

Isn't it another Westhaven/Brentwood on steroids? With some commercial shopping and restaurants?

I get it that it is providing much needed housing to the growing Middle TN area. And of course, it is also providing steady job support for the next 20 years or so.

That said, that area is one of the cool, unique things about Nashville. Sadly, it'll be gone to (what I perceive as) multiple McMansions, Tazikis, Starbucks, and Chicken Salad Chick.

And I'm not even a cyclist.

Both are live work small town developments. Westhaven is a Southern Land development. It's the same 3-4 houses with 3 to 4 elevations for each house with a different paint color carefully spaced apart. It has a few pocket parks big enough to play cornhole and tag. It has great amenities center.

Stephens Valley is on 1000 acres. 60% will never be developed. It has everything from garden homes with alley garages to 5ac estate homes. It has a boutique hotel for the 4 million visitors that visit the trace every year. It has natural walking trails already in place that the community can access to explore the trace. No two homes will be the same. The architect we are working with is Carson Looney. The development is also in a trust. Rochford's hands are tied by so many strings his wrists are bleeding. LRK is our architect. Money is not an object, all builders have agreed to sacrifice some profit for the good of the community. 75% of houses built in Westhaven would not be approved through architectural/design guild in the community.

Westhaven on steroids is the laymans way to put it. It's the most intense project I've ever been a part of. It will be incredible.

Hmmm....do you have any plans or models for it? I've yet to see anything other than the Rochford link - which isn't working btw. I was under the impression that it was going to be just another Westhaven or Berry Farms - just at a much bigger (and more expensive) scale.
