Yep. It’s probably going to shift east but anything east of Morgan City is highly unlikely.

Thanks for the help guys. Would probably not be worrying but for my wife about to pop. As always, the best place for news and laughs.

Hopefully we don’t have to do shite but nothing wrong with taking a few steps of preparation. Best of luck to your wife and soon to be new addition

18z Euro Ensembles are damn clustered near the central LA coast. Hard to argue against it.

Also is this the first time a front has fricked us? Douche was just going to be a rainmaker then got pushed back out in the gulf to link up with the other weak fricker and now has time to strengthen. Weather is crazy.

The @NHC_Atlantic has initiated advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone Six (#PTC6) in the Gulf of Mexico. The system has not yet congealed into a tropical storm, but is expected to do so within the next 24 hours.

A track northward is expected to bring impacts to #Louisiana and southeast #Texas as the storm intensifies in a favorable environment through Tuesday. Conditions will become less favorable for the storm before landfall as shear increases, but a hurricane-strength system is still possible. Residents in the region should prepare for this potential, as hazards could arrive as early as Tuesday.

I'll have a video discussion out tomorrow (Monday) morning.

Dumb question time.

Is it strange that the wind field is entirely on the west side? I thought the east side was the windier side.
