So what are your thoughts -- is it really moving through Terrebonne and into NOLA or do you think the current NHC track is closer to reality?

I would assume everything from this point forward is a wobble. Probably will wobble back and forth like usual

That would be a prertty good assumption to make, especially with an eye wider than the cone.

The eye is so big and elongated tough to pick a center

Short and wide. Francine is trying to fit in as she sneaks into Louisiana.

If you’re watching WAFB it appears Baron Rouge will get 2” of rain and 30 mph winds while New Orleans will get 8-9” and 70 mph winds

Not impossible, slight exaggeration though. It’s still moving northeast and Nola is on the east side of the storm

Congratulations to Peej who accurately predicted the exact location this Hurricane would make landfall last week. He doesn't get enough credit on this board for his forecasts.

Bruce Katz really is wishcasting hard for New Orleans impacts. He got pretty defensive when Lee questioned him on why Katz’s forecast differed from the prevailing NHC forecast.

Fox8 is unwatchable. It’s usually my default.
