This storm is definitely underperforming its expectations. Look for NHC to further drop intensity forecasts in the next advisory. Also good news for BR metro (not so great for NO) but the continued eastern shifts will greatly reduce the winds you have to deal with.

For BR Metro folks, the new center of cone track is a line from St. Gabriel to Denham Springs.

Roughly Highland Lakes to Old Jefferson to Shenandoah to downtown Denham Springs.

Still subject to change
