Don't think I've ever seen people this paranoid about a Cat 1 possible 2 storm. Lines for gas and nothing left at the store when I stopped for beer. You would swear it was at Cat 4 coming for us.

Been a relatively rough run for LA with storms that are supposed to be meh and end up overperforming.

Plus we just watched Houston go a week in some places without power after a Cat 1.

Who cares? Storm popped up pretty quickly caught lots of folks by surprise. I operate under the motto better to be prepared for nothing than being completely fricked by trying to be a hard arse

Is it that set in stone? Honest question. I presumed these things aren't so black and white.

It says a lot for an even-keeled guy like you to come out so strongly against a shitpost.

Because of your rep, it’s much appreciated.

I had to go pick up my daughter about 615 and every gas station between here and there had a line down the street.

About 830 I went to go drop something off, and none of those stations had any lines at all, just 3-4 people at each filling up.

I think people see a line, freak out, and join the line.

He just put together some weather words. The words he's using together dont make any fricking sense.

It was just time for me to fill up and ended up in a bit of a line with guys filling 4-5 5-gallon gas cans as well as the vehicle

This. I’m in uptown New Orleans and pumps were packed earlier

I drove to store an hour ago and there’s no one in sight at the same 3 gas stations I pass.

I filled my truck up because I was at a 1/4 tank, and filled 2 5 gallon gas cans to run the generator for a couple of nights if we lose power. Other than that, beer.
