Fox local affiliate on DirecTV dispute.

Has anybody else not had their Fox local affiliate since September? I just called to try and get the Fox national feeds turned on 398&399 with no luck. Has anybody been able to get this done? I was told it wasn’t possible but I have a feeling the idiot I was talking to had zero clue what she was doing.

KVHP in Lake Charlss has been off DTV for a few months now. I use AppleTV while others I know use a digital antenna

My internet sucks so streaming is no bueno. I’ve tried older antennas i have with no luck which I don’t understand. The Fox tower is literally 10 miles from my house. Yes this is KVHP also.

With a few easy conversions, I was able to get my local FOX local affiliate beamed directly into my brain.

Were the antennas digital ones or just the old rabbit ears? You need to get a new digital antenna or the converter box to be able to catch anything these days.

Your TV must also have a tuner. Newer TVs don't necessarily come with one built in anymore.

It was odd. I was picking up every channel but 29 with my antenna. 7, 6,4,&12 out of Beaumont. Just not 29.

Yep, mine has been out for a long time. They even gave me the free Sunday ticket but still can’t watch the saints because they are blacked out on the Sunday ticket and it trys to send me to the local channel

Still have Fox44 in BR, but their broadcast SUCKS. It’s widescreen, but the picture is so bad for sports I’d hesitate to call it HD.

I canceled DTV because of this because it went out right before the World Series. I use an antenna now to get it.

Memphis Fox is on Direct and works just fine.

So is Birmingham.
The dispute isn't with Fox. It's with the owner of the local station, American Spirit Media.
