Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Family Services Squad launched an investigation and identified the four suspects. After executing search warrants, police said they found further evidence tying the four suspects to the crime, and arrest warrants were obtained. All four were arrested without incident and charged with felony counts of first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree conspiracy, and second-degree unlawful sexual contact, according to police. Miller is also charged with one count of felony possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, one count of felony aggravated menacing, one count of misdemeanor terroristic threatening, one count of misdemeanor theft under $1,500, and one count of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. James-Carter is also charged with one count of felony possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and one count of felony aggravated menacing.
