I’m sorry....I made it to chow and knew this was bullshite.

A vizsla and a wiemerainer but no GSP? Those two are like shitty versions of GSPs

Also I’ll take my Brittany spaniel over half of those breeds. There isn’t a more affectionate sweet dog than a Brittany.

Small dogs can't take kids because of their size. One big book that graded dogs excluded every small breed from the list of digs exceptionally food with children.

I agree... I ask my Vet and he said he doesn't like visits from Chow Chows.. My Mom had an Old English Sheep Dog..the sweetest dog you will meet..The dog grieved after my Mom died.

How the hell did a Chow Chow make this list? Every one I’ve ever come in contact with was mean as frick.

They are intense dogs and usually bond to a single human, not the "pack" making them dicey family dog choices.

Mrs. Midnight has a funny story about her family Chow when she was a kid - after school, the kids could come into their yard and play. Everything was fine. Dog didn't bother anybody. No problem. If an adult came to pick up their kid out of the back yard, he or she would wave at the child and have the child come to the gate to leave. No problem.

If an adult who did not live at the house came into the yard? Problem.

Yup Chows are dicks. Honestly the Beagle and Dachshund aren’t consistently great dogs with kids either. Dalmatians suck too. This list is awful.

Holy shite. Are they trying to get some kids killed? Is this what Planned Parenthood is up to these days?

This is the worst dog list I've ever seen.

quote:

Whippet

The Mr. Burns of the dog world. These dogs will sprain their ankle just trying to stand up.

quote:

Chow Chow

That's hilarious. Probably the most vicious dog in history of the world.

quote:

Newfoundland aka “Newfie”

Lol, again. Don't be fooled by the shaggy, Boy Next Door hair. These dogs will frick you up.

quote:

Bull Terrier

These like to bite too

quote:

Australian Shepherd

I'm really starting to think this list was made as some kind of sick joke.

quote:

Papillon

Snappy little frickers

quote:

Dalmatian

Has one of the highest bite rates of any dog breed. Also notoriously retarded and hard-headed.

quote:

Cocker Spaniel

Makes ice cream swirly poos.

I just wanted to say that.

quote:

Dachshund

Rated number one in bite rate in a very comprehensive study done over just about every breed in existence. No Lie.

chows are mean as hell,

If raised around children they are fiercely protective of them.

I have a lab/Akita mix that sits back and watches the kids while they are out playing. We are in a rural area so its nice not having to worry about stray dogs messing with the kids when you have a 120 lb monster to keep them away.

chows are great dogs for a family, but if you aren't in that family then you will have some issues. They can be overly protective of their family even when properly socialized. I have a German Shepherd and she is great with my son and is very social to new people once she gets to meet them, but you would have a bad day if she felt like you threatened her pack.

We had a dachshund growing up. He was always on bite. Hair trigger. Was blissfully unafraid of anything his size or larger. Was terrified of things smaller like kittens or cockroaches.
