Not entirely, but I do think that height is easily the most important factor in male attractiveness, and this has become even more true in my lifetime.

Height was always important, for example, as a marker of maturity in adolescence. However, there were other such markers that were similarly important: earning a driver's license, getting one's own place, a full-time job, etc.

Those things have diminished in importance. Young people aren't as fixated on cars, jobs, and apartments. Women aren't as focused on finding a provider. Where before height was just one part of the formula, in our era there's not much else left.

What makes any of that garbage? Seems to me eugenics and "pro-natalism" are among those many things that people sort of took for granted for millenia but then suddenly decided were mean or vulgar comparatively recently.

In my opinion, the genome of a family, race, or species is an asset of great value. I don't want my kids marrying someone genetically defective because they watched the wrong Disney cartoon or Shakespeare play and were told to "follow their hearts."
