Well, she accomplished her goal of being famous(kind of), and did it without necessarily having much talent. She paid a price for that, but she chose to pay that price.

Even without this, there is some pretty clear nepotism going on in Hollywood. There's a reason why the parents of many current stores were also big wigs back in their day. Corruption in this industry should surprise no one. The signs are clearly in front of us.

Sure there are some as clear cut as this, but a lot of them are forced into it. Some of them may think they are doing something once but they don't know what they are getting into. Then there's the kids that those hollywooders rape and abuse. Their parents are given money and those kids are pimped out. Barbara Walters literally criticized Corey Feldman that he was jeopardizing a lot of people by coming out with his allegations. There is no where to turn for a lot of these people. Cops and judges get paid off. The entertainers are contracted in, look at Kesha's example. You aren't even hearing the really bad hollywood stories.
This type of people that runs hollywood doesn't just stop with this for entertainers. They promise these pretty girls in Eastern Europe nice paying jobs, not even the get famous actor/model jobs, in the western world. Then they slam them into whore houses across Europe, Turkey, Israel, etc. This has been going on for centuries but there was a big surplus after the USSR fell.
A lot of mainstream entertainers are virtually slaves. They saw dollars but they didn't know what they were really getting into. No one believes it until it's too late, the glitz and glamour was too blinding.
