Former Navy SEAL, Rob O’Neill, who is famous for killing Osama bin Laden (debated) was arrested in what seems to be a money grab by an anti-American hotel security guard.

quote:
An unnamed security guard who tried to help O’Neill to his room was assaulted and berated by the elite fighter — resulting in O’Neill’s arrest.
[“O’Neill] turned to him, rose his fists in the air and struck him in his chest with his right palm,” the hotel security officer told police. “Robert called him a ‘fu–ing n—er’” when he struck him.
quote:
The hotel security guard who claimed former Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill assaulted him and called him the N-word during a dispute in Texas was revealed to be a white man, The Post has learned.
quote:
The hotel security guard had been tasked with helping O’Neill up to his room after the hotel “offered to use a wheelchair to help Robert get back to his room on the 5th floor,” police said. “Robert refused to be pushed in a wheelchair, so [a security guard] offered to help him get to his room.” A short time later, that same security guard called down on his radio and informed his co-workers he had been assaulted by O’Neill.
quote:
O’Neill said the allegations made by the security guard are not true. “I have honorably and proudly served my country for half my life in battles all over the world, standing shoulder to shoulder with men of all races, religions and sexual orientations,” O’Neill told The Post. “The color of one’s skin doesn’t matter when your life is on the line. The idea that I would use a racial slur against anyone is so preposterous, so beyond offensive to not only myself but all of my brothers who have served and fought with me; I deny it in the strongest terms.”
quote:
“Robert stated he did not palm strike Johnny because he does not strike people; he stated he would have choked Johnny,” the police report reads. “Robert stated Johnny was ‘full of s–t’ and believed this to be a money grab.”
quote:
The 47-year-old was arrested and booked into jail last week in the Dallas suburb. He was slapped with a Class A misdemeanor charge of assault causing bodily injury and a Class C misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

These guys are heroes and obviously serve a vital need, but I wonder if the nature of the job prohibits them from having any semblance of a normal, well-adjusted, happy life after their service.

Anyone know where I can purchase the Navy Seal trading cards?

It comes off way too polished and PR-y for it to seem sincere in my eyes.
The guy has seen and done some shite and may be having issues and had a bad moment after getting smashed at the hotel bar. That is just my guess.

Keep in mind his situation was more like the top 1%. Not to diminish the service of the rank and file enlisted, but just to add some color (no pun intended) to this.

He didn't say this extemporaneously...it's a prepared response, right?

Maybe...maybe not. But if there's no witnesses and no video and someone makes this kind of claim, what else can you do other than a full throated, unequivocal denial? It's either that or say nothing.
The problem is claims like this are too often just taken at face value (believe all women) and the accuser is not expected to prove the accusation at all, and somehow the accused is put into a position to disprove something for which there was no evidence. It's completely impossible.
Personally, I assume any claim like this is bullshite until proven otherwise.
