I keep telling him that at least he showed up. He had no say in where the Army was sending him. He was a name draw away from being a damned Field MEdic.

The NATO version is the standard. The words are chosen so you can understand people with different accents. It also uses words that are cthe same across the Western European languages.

now I try to amuse myself by coming up with a creative word on the spot...
