I mean. This is redic. But if the team is requiring her to work in appearances, social media, etc and not paying them, then they are setting themselves up for a law suit.

Don't quote me on this but I want to say they were getting paid about $75 per game (8 games a year) then minimum wage for events and they got to keep a certain percentage of calendar sales or after a certain point got to keep all the money from calendar sales.

So, if this is accurate, they are getting over minimum wage for games (assuming they aren't working 10 hours at a game), minimum wage for all functions outside of the game, and then paid a commission on sales.

Basically, they are paid three different ways, salary, hourly, commission. Good luck trying to argue you are owed overtime.

She should be suing the plastic surgeon who did her implant surgery. Completely unnatural and detracts from her attractiveness.

Again, do not quote me on that because this was over 10 years ago but I vaguely remember a conversation with one of the girls about this.

I lied about the picture thing. I wonder if Mike was making $65k to take a test?

yup. Imagine that The cheerleader isn't good at math.

I would think that the mascot probably makes some overtime during football season.

Her face looks like she'd be annoying. I'd pay the black cheerleaders OT to punch her in the chin

That was a reply to someone just saying that the mascot's $25/hour pay only worked out to $52,000 a year based on 40 hours x 52 weeks. Not the $65,000 that the cheerleader claimed the mascot makes. Just pointing out that the mascot probably makes some overtime during season, which is where that extra $13,000 comes from instead of straight $25/hour x 40 hour week all year.

I still don't believe the mascot works over 40 hours a week every week for the entire year. If you told me during the season, maybe but not enough to make $65k.

Yet her Facebook cover photo and profile pic are all of her Cowboy days.

Is she contending that NFL cheerleaders work more than 40 hours per week specifically dedicated to cheerleading?

Isn't Dallas a lot different from other places in this regard?

I think they're highly regimented and picky about cheerleaders

$25 an hour, or $65,000 a year, Wait, what? How many working hours do they think are in a year?

50 hours a week isn't that unheard of. And that is 50 hours a week calculated with no overtime pay. There is plenty of people that work more then 50 hours a week.

But as a mascot for a team that's season runs from Sept - Jan? There is no way there are enough weekly events that the mascot must show up to that would require a 50 hr work week.....EVERY WEEK of the year.

1. A Mascot is not working 50 hrs per week for the entire year.
2. When you are quoting yearly wage numbers, you base it on 2080 workable hours. You do not assume overtime.
3. 50 hrs per week would be over $65,000 per year.
