Lai Xiaomin, the former chairman of one of China’s largest state-controlled asset management firms was sentenced to death on Tuesday for soliciting $260 million in bribes, corruption and also bigamy.
During his TV confession, Lai said he “did not spend a single penny, and just kept it there... I did not dare to spend it”. He had referred to the apartment where he kept the money as the “supermarket”, given his regular visits there to deposit cash.
Authorities had found more than 100 properties under his name and some 270 million yuan (S$52.2 million) in cash weighing about three tonnes at his home.
(Lai) is said to have had affairs with over 100 women.
Apparently, these former spouses and lovers, and also their children, lived in the same area without much problem. He had also allegedly given the women positions as managers, executives and directors in his companies.

If he had sex with one mistress per day, it would take him over 3 months to get back on top of the rotation.

My brain read the title like he was a man who had over 100 wives and lovers all sentenced to death for corruption. I was thinking this guy has bad taste in women.

So when can we expect the NBA folks to speak out against executing a man for non-violent crimes?

If that house burned down I would have sentenced myself to death

Does anyone actually believe this? This guy was allowed to profit until he wasn't anymore. And then the CCP charges him with likely fabricated crimes, confiscates his wealth in the name of the state and forces him to plead guilty, likely so his entire family won't be murdered. This is where we're headed.

Sadly, in communist China, all of the below seem plausible to me:

On a final note:

He's not black so NBA doesn't give a sh!t. As long as the Chinese keep making LeBron's shoes with slave labor, NBA will not say a damn thing about China.
