I recently checked out the Atlas. Could have been a nice car if the interior wasn't taken out of a 1998 Saturn.
We got one back in February.
Love it.

So in addition to Fords being POS, they are also death traps... Nice!

KIA doing work. A lot of people on this site bad-mouth KIA mericlessly, but KIA makes a pretty nice vehicle.
My friends rent swanky condos for a race in Aspen every year. I couldn't justify it this year (to wife anyway), so I "car camped" at a campground that was closed for major fall renovation, right outside of town but a few people were RVing in the lot and I just turned my rental Sorrento into my own homeless shelter in paradise.
I was shocked by the quality. Avis upgraded me for free to the AWD, V6, 3-row model, and it handled Independence Pass like a champ. And the cargo space w both back rows folded flat was more than ample.
If their long-term quality and reliability keep improving then it's a no brainier pick in the class, especially at their pricing. It also looked good enough to not LOOK totally homeless, driving around Aspen. Ahhh California.

I knew I wasn’t imagining that! My wife never believed me but I swore I heard a radio ad long ago that Kias were 2-for-1.
Yeah if you bought one of their midsize sedans at sticker, you'd get one of their base model subcompacts for free.

Hey guys, we found the Subaru Fanboi....
You really burned me there. I may have to go take my Piss on Chevy sticker off of my Toyota.

Not surprised to see any Jeep/Chrysler product on that list, the explorer is a bit of a surprise.

I think the Grand Cherokee was the one that had a gearshift design issue a few years back. Drivers would think they were in park but were actually in neutral.
Yup, this actually resulted in the death of one of the Star Trek actors, Anton Yelchin.
I love the Grand Cherokees, always have, but I don't think I'll buy one. One of my best friends has one, and he's had problems with it, and the interior has pieces that are coming off and it's a rattle box. But damn they're a good looking car.

My wife actually has a 2015 Sorento. Got it without the 3rd row seat. Beaucoups of storage space even with the back seat up.
Living in the mountains, I like driving it in 'manual' mode. No hill too steep for that V6. Plus, we get 26 MPG hiway. Been very happy with it.
