So you're lumping in all the midsize trucks with the half tons, when Ford currently isn't in that market? Link isn't exactly clear. The only thing clear on it is that Ford is outselling the Chevy by about 1.5 to 1 YTD.

Im not sure how the new expedition will perform but for the 2017 and below, the Suburban/yukon xl has always outdone the expedition being best in class V8, towing, and leg/trunck space.

Dodge Grand Caravans were far and away the best selling minivans for years (probably still are). Did that make them better than the Odyssey/Sienna (the answer is a big OH HELL NO)?

I know it's nicer than the Expedition it replaced, but IMO Ford made it too low and wagon-like for me.
The Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, and Armada look better. The Suburban Z71 in black looks good to me. The Denali is one of the best looking trucks out there. While I don't consider Ford Trucks an unusual risk, GM is more proven in this area.
Nearly everyone I know with a Suburban keeps it 8-10 years (or more) for well over 200,000 miles. That's just the type of buyer they are.
The Land Cruiser is nice, but IMO it has also become to much of a luxury yacht. The 4Runner Trail edition is most similar to the Land Cruiser of the 1980s and 1990s that I love.

It's funny that mentioned that. I have a 2017 4Runner OffRoad Premium and it does remind me of that generation of Land Cruisers. I wish there was just a bit more polish on it though.
As far as capability it is amazing though. My 11 year old son and I went on a 3 week road trip to Colorado and drove the passes (Imogene, Cinnamon, Engineer, American Basin, etc...) between Lake City, Telluride, Silverton, and Ouray. 4Runner didn't break a sweat. Watched a guy in a Mercedes Gelandewagen spin his tires for 5 minutes trying to get up a steep wet boulder. I locked the diff and scooted straight up it. Anyway, it was fun.

What?? Gonna have to disagree. I own a new Suburban and we looked at the Expo's beforehand so it's a matter of taste and opinion. Plus I'd rather have a V8 in my truck.

5.3L V8 in a Tahoe feels absolutely gutless compared to the 3.5L EB in an Expedition. I used to rent a fullsize SUV for trips from PA to MA going through NYC and the Tahoes never felt like they had enough power to get into traffic, the Expedition would break the tires loose. I'll take 400+ lb-ft of twist in the lowend over the GM V8.
