That's what the total cost was for my mom.

That's the lessons, background check, license fee, etc. And she shopped around.

That's not even the one that bothers me that much. It's having to re-register every, what is it, 4 years?

It also bothers me that you're subject to a whole new set of laws that you otherwise wouldn't be if you were open carrying, home carrying or vehicle carrying. They use the licensing requirement as an excuse to restrict your freedoms while carrying.

And again, it's the principle of it. I shouldn't need government permission and be taxed to exercise a constitutionally guaranteed freedom. "Shall not be infringed" doesn't mean, "well if you hold your peace this way, you have to jump through this hoop".

Sorry I was starting to derail the thread.

When I DO concealed carry, because I'm a law-breaking piece of shite, I like my Kel-Tec P32. I hate having shite in my pockets and it's the smallest, slimmest carry there is in something bigger than a 22.
