For those that thought divorce would be awesome..

Got married at 21, now 36 with 3 kids. Wife is always angry. My mind wanders and thinks of what it could be like to be single and have roughly 2/3rds of my current income. Chasing OT 6.5's, playing golf, traveling, taking my kids on trips without a control freak present. Any divorce success stories?

Sounds like your mind is made up.

Unless a spouse is abusive to the kids or endangers their safety, there are no success stories for divorces that involve kids.

The only debt we have is our house....could sell it and break even. I'm cool with dividing assets because, technically, she deserves it. Also figured in spousal and child support...should leave me with 2/3 of current income.
