If JBE is keeping help out, he needs to be kicked out right along with Biden.

Where are you Mike? Not knowing, I'd try Stine, Home Depot, Lowe's, any local ACE hardware store and don't lol but even try Walmart. If you're in BR try Goodwood Hardware also == they posted on FB they're getting shipments but IDK if it included a/c.

You MAY be able to buy online and pay so that you can just go pick it up.

Blessings to you.

Hello all, I'm seeking info on the conditions around Miller's Rowe subdivision off Thibodaux Bypass Rd by the sugar mill.

Does anyone know anything about how the area fared and what is the best route to get back?

I can't offer much in return other than to provide info on the Lakeview NO area to anyone in need. THANKS, BAWS!

I heard from PJ he and his family/pets really went through some horrific things he wants everyone to know he appreciates all the kind thoughts and wishes,

I'll be sharing more information as it's approved by the admins or through back channels in the days ahead. He wants y'all to know he loves the TD family and is aware so many others are impacted by the storm.

God Bless

The carbon monoxide alarms are plug in with 9 volt battery back ups. Will they work as well just on that 9 volt battery?

Houma and Thibodaux are just Devastated as well as all the people further south. Anything for the people in Lafourche and Terrebonne. No power, water, food, cell or radio service(some finally back), hospitals, finding gas is like winning the powerball it seems. It's pretty damn bleak down here!!! But I have my home and my family, so I'll just rebuild and help my neighbors!!!

A link if someone hasn't seen the pics it's a FB link

Good on ya, OF. I am not a person of great means, but I have contributed to other GFMs mentioned here and will do so in some amount for OTers who are certified by the admins to have suffered great loss from this event. Had water in my childhood home from Betsy in '65 and it was destroyed by Katrina so I can identify. Maybe the admins here could set up a single GFM to distribute grants of up to a set amount to those TDers in need (perhaps up to $1K). It would at least be of some help.

I also have family who were in the path of Ida but it appears that they have been spared catastrophic loss and mostly dealing with lack of power and living away from home for an extended period. They will be okay.

In Baton Rouge, Cajun Cowboy Kitchen on Plank Rd. is currently offering a free breakfast just in case anyone is interested. They had already started nearly 40 min. ago and will end when they’re out of food.

For anyone who doesn't know this about Home Depot...

They really don't have a good online sales system. It will say they have stock and let you purchase things they don't have. Then it later cancels your order.

For these emergency type supplies, you have to go to the store as they just have normal stock and if people buy it before your order is pulled, you don't get it. I found out last year when I was prepping when they thought Laura might come to Houston.

Don't buy online from HD and expect them to have it.
