A little bit of Xanax helps me out a whole lot.

People are having panic attacks from hysterical laughter?

I had a few panic attacks. On a suggestion, I went to a psychologist. Best thing I ever did. Every single thing I told him, he completely understood and said that's exactly what happens and made me feel normal for a panic attack person. There's 2 types of medicine they will prescribe. The first is something like Lexapro or Xoloft. This is used to calm you down every day and PREVENT an attack. The second is Xanas which you can take when you are having an attack to STOP the panic attack. Whether you get 1, 2, or any of these medicines is up to the doctor, but just know that there's ways to help the panic attacks and prevent them. Call a psychologist ASAP and go. Regardless of medicine or not, it was nice hearing someone know exactly what you were experiencing.
And if you're worried about Xanax, I have had it prescribed for 2.5 years now. I have only taken 3 pills in those 2.5 years. You only take it if you need it and you may find you don't ever need it.

Therapy
Valium
Zoloft
You may also experience hyper arousal as a result but the meds make it harder to have an orgasm.
Make a connection with someone and enjoy the ride.

It took me about 10 years to figure out that it was the acid I was dropping causing my issues. I never would have guessed. I spent a whole decade thinking it was the sugar and caffeine.

Seriously look in to theanine.
Glycine and magnesium are also supposed to help with anxiety/panic attacks.
