I’ve seen Uber drivers do this.

Easier for them to just leave mask on in between picking up customers

Silly thing to get enraged about. Consider the reasons why they might be wearing it alone in their car...maybe they just went through a drive-through and wore it in consideration of the person working at the window. Perhaps they are stopping by several places.

Good lord...

Pretty much everywhere has bulletproof glass or shields up between them anyway and assuming you aren’t coughing directly into the workers mouth, you aren’t there long enough to do anything.
That’s high level virtue signaling.

I see people coming into and leaving my neighborhood with them on and alone in their cars.

Like I said, I know it's irrational and a stupid thing to get upset about, but I can't help it

A lot more places than fast food are drive-through...and no I don't see the plexiglass installed everywhere.

I have left places and gotten a few blocks away and realized I never took my mask off. I would bet most people don’t even realize they have it on.

I have to wear one at work all day. I've gotten used to having it on all the time, so sometimes I get in my car and forget it's still on my face until I'm a few miles towards home.

My favorite is the old person who is masked up in the car taking it off long enough to smoke that cigarette and then remask. I mean damn. You are already ignoring the warnings about tobacco and cancer. What’s a little covid?

I’ve yet to see the trifecta (solo driver w mask, gloves and face shield).

It would be a damn unicorn.
Come to the PNW..lots of unicorns up here.

Either theyre dumb enough to think it's a filter or they're just virtue signaling.

From the get go, nah.

When I go to say rouses and have to drive across the street to Winn Dixie because they didn't have something? Sure it's inconvenient to take it off and put it back on

It's not like you're going into surgery dumbass. And furthermore, I doubt very seriously that you are completely sterile in your approach to donning/doffing your mask. Gimme a break.

Considering that I've been donning and doffing at work since the beginning of this nonsense, yeah. Got a problem?

If I touch a known dirty surface, why wouldn't I clean my hands?

While it's illogical to literally sanitize every waking moment like March-April, I try to minimize having to tear up my hands again if I can help it.
