For the fellow head shavers... anyone try these electric head shavers?

Seems like if they work good they’d be worth it

I use a curved trimmer, but I’ve heard the head blade is very fast and easy. Not sure about using an electric shaver on my head. Seems like it would get irritated for a while.

I used the head bald for a while. Might need to look into that again. Been using Harry’s for a while now but they seem to dull really quick using them on my head. Been getting issues with ingrown hair in one spot

I use a cheap rotary razor on my face and head. Then I make another pass over my head with a cheap foil razor. Have never had a problem with irritation and I've been doing it this way for at least a decade.

My parents got me one for Christmas and I was extremely skeptical but it works really well.

Does it still leave a slight stubble, or does it shave smooth as a razor? What are the advantages over it vs. a razor?

Just use a pet shaver and save money. It works just as well or better than the ones for humans.

I have the Pitbull Platinum Pro and it's awesome. I highly recommend it.

Does it give a smooth finish line a regular razor?

I've tried a few electric shavers and none of them give the smooth finish that the blade gives

I have been using the PITBULL for a couple years now. It is not quite as close as a razor but still very close. I use it in the shower sometimes with shaving cream and it will get very close. The main benefit of it is that you get a pretty close dry shave with very little irritation (for me at least) and it takes me less than a minute to have a clean shaved head. I use mine every morning. Unless I use it in the shower, it’s closer so it takes longer to grow out. I’m not sure it’s rated for wet use but I’ve used it at least once a month in the shower since I’ve owned it. Mainly when we are going out to eat or somewhere like that where I want it really close. I never use a regular razor anymore. Never get ingrown hairs either.

I shave mine but can't seem to get that perfectly smooth look no matter what I do. I think my hair follicles are just too thick to disappear completely so it always looks like 5 o'clock shadow.
