When are you all going to fix our problems with our youth? The argument is that they watch our kids more than we do and they deserve more money.

For 90% of teachers, teaching is just something to bridge gap between college and popping out a couple kids.

Should be paid less imo

I’m just annoyed at the teachers who have had a “vacation” from March - current (it will most likely be extended through the fall term) and are still being paid their full salary.

That's the parents' job. Shitty parenting is a huge part of the reason why schools suck now.

If you raised your kids right, we wouldn't have rioting and looting.

I can assure you that private school teachers were not on “vacation” and that many had to work even more hours doing everything online. Idiot.

Why don’t you home-school your kid?

Do you sign the paper that says your kid can't get paddled in school?

Discipline is missing in our country.

Seriously, as soon, or even before, they can walk you pack them up and send them to daycare. Then, you sign em up for whatever idiotic local youth sport is currently accepting 3 year olds. You make sure they participate in any group activities that will take them. Then you throw em in pre-school. All of that before you can finally ship em off to a government-subsidized daycare until they are 18. All of that so you don't have to raise them.

Alot of people use "education" and other avenues as babysitters and expect them to raise their damn kids. Then, they come on a message board to bitch about how bad of a job they are doing.

You're a parent. It is your responsibility to raise your child, to teach them right from wrong, to teach them self respect and respect for authority and elders. It is your responsibility to make sure they don't grow up to be some ignorant shite suckling at government's tit. Quit passing the buck and do your job!

I requested the permission to beat the parents’ asses too, but the superintendent would grant no such thing.

Not really. Throw a couple assignments up on the site and that’s it.
