They can't own guns privately. In England you can't carry a pocket knife. I'm good with our laws.

If you don’t believe in God, what’s to stop you from doing anything you can get away with? Religion is what helps our society work. Without it you’ll end up like Russia. That polls results are discouraging.

In fairness, there are plenty of historical examples of Christians trying to get away with something when they thought nobody on earth would find out.

For that matter, there are several Biblical kings whose wealth and power went to their heads (Saul, David, Solomon, Uzziah).

Catholics would be approaching 0% in BR if it were not for schools. No young people including young adults give a crap about the religion.

Access to weapons has basically no effect on violent crime rates.

On homicide rates? I find that a little bit difficult to believe unless it's a completely lawless place like much of Mexico. Again, I'm fine with it either way. I'd rather live in dangerous freedom

Sorry to hear about your mother.

I grew up in the Catholic Church. It was an incredibly tight-knit community. There are things I criticize about Catholicism but the strength of the community is not one of them.

You’ll be hard pressed to find an example of any weapons prohibition that resulted in any significant change in the violent crime rate, including homicide.

Wait until we have another national crisis like 9/11. Those numbers will spike. Everyone will be wimpering and asking for Gods help after they spit in his face for a decade since. The problem is people don’t understand God isn’t Santa clause or a genie in a bottle you bring out when you need him.

I don't have the numbers in front of me but I'd agree that prohibition of any kind doesn't really work.

The flaw in this statement is you have no idea what makes something "good".

How do you know what good is in the first place?

Just because you don’t declare a religion doesn’t mean you’re aren’t a Christian or attending a Christian Church.

Bogus survey.

Anyone who believes this:

Non-denominational =/= no religion though many people polled will think it does.

Heck I’m a Christian and I’m not one of the choices.

I’m not ‘no religion’
I’m not ‘Catholic’
I’m not an ‘Evangelical’

I’m a Methodist.

I know David banged Bathsheba cause she was hot and he had a lapse in judgement, Solomon had more woman than he could shake his stick at, but I missed the part about the 8,9,10 year old boys they were after. Just sayin
