i really like mayo and think it gets a bad rap.

Two important points to be made:
1. The contestants would be filtered and selected by the sponsor or a designee.
2. There may be more than one possible contestant. I can see this challenge being offered to multiple individuals, due to the fact that it would be so difficult. The sponsor isn't afraid of losing the cash. That's just an incentive to generate interest.
