I usually keep hot pockets or pizza rolls in the freezer for a snack despite the Gfs eye roll while shopping. I have the metabolism to eat it and not pay for it

As far as food goes..The people I'm surrounded by now, almost everything. So I'm going off on that instead.
My family though back in louisiana..next time I see them they were talking about fried and smothered calf liver & onions over mashed potatoes. Very much a favorite of mine.
A lot of restaurants out here dont know how to season anything either, except for the Mexicans and Asians I have to give it to them. Best Asian restuarants I've been to are out here.

I can still always remember going with my grandfather there after he would have a doctors appointment. I miss those times.

My Dad used to make this ground meat, cream of mushroom soup, egg noodle concoction that was basically like homemade hamburger helper. It was the last thing I cooked for him while he was in the hospital. He enjoyed it so much.
Nobody else in my house will eat it, but I still cook it sometimes.
