I hate Biden as much as anyone, but this isn’t a market traded commodity that any US president can just wave a magic wand and make prices go up and down.
Very complex global issues cause this. It’s not just a result of a dumb US energy policy

Nearly all of that shite mentioned in the graphic is not even real food. People just need to quit buying that trash.

Ending bailouts and the endless supply of credit would go a long way. Make people suffer the consequences of their spending habits and the market will be forced to correct

Robert Reich, the former US. Labor Secretary,
He’s a slimy little cocksucker, but he may be right about this.

Prices are never going down again. Unfortunately, this is the new normal in Biden’s America.

You are so right; prices will never go down again. What cracks me up is the government’s inflation figures. They say inflation is up 3.2% or some other stupid number from a government agency . Inflation is up on all goods a freakin ton and we all feel it. Now Joe is going to regulate your stove, your ac etc and drive up our costs even more. We are screwed

If Biden goes after these companies and they get them for price gauging, ill come back and eat crow.

But this wont happen, because they are lying to you.

Plus just looking at Conagra, their sales are up from 2022. They are also manipulating you with data here. One thing they did was take a price increase, but also got rid of shite they werent selling. So overall they can raise their sales and lower their cogs. Its called good fricking business.

But why would a liberal that voted for biden tell the truth? Telling the truth in 2023 only gets you in trouble.

But but but it’s The Market setting the prices! You can’t tell private corporations what to do! If you don’t like it why don’t you farm your own food!

let us know when you democrats actually do something about price gauging instead of having a fake native american write a letter about it.

Couple this with the way companies, especially on the snack side, are forcing distributors, stores and then the customers to purchase XL bags, candy bars, etc... My wife (no pics) works for one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world and believe me when I tell you it's a scam.

And, the obesity stats are getting worse and worse with no concern from food and beverage companies.

How is the company’s fault. People make dumb decisions and it’s not on the industry to change them.
