It appears this is actually satire.

It doesn't actually link to the NY Post, it links to some weird website that mimics the post.

Can't find this article on the actual post website

You know you can follow up to a thread by just commenting on that thread right?

The first half of that article reads like it's from the Bee. Sadly, it's real.

Was about to say this. Article reads like satire.

Upside down clown world. Thank your nearest liberal for voting for this shite.

this is a pragmatic solution.

people are dying access to narcan can save lives.

the drugs are getting used either way. this at least may help someone live long enough to get help.

It is weird because the OP's link isn't to the NYP. It is some other spoof site. When you search for the article the link to a legit NYP story comes up, but isn't obvious if you just go to their main page.

I think OPs link is a way to get around paywalls or maybe keep clickbait type articles from gaining revenue. I was just trying to be helpful and showing the "legit" link

No way that machine isn't destroyed/stolen in the next 6 months. Just pay some junkie $5 an hour to stand there and had the shite out. He gets some cash for his next hit, the shite gets passed out, there are no maintenance costs.

Or, just leave it on the corner in a fricking bowl like halloween candy.
