Folks, I need some help

Got a friend who thinks it's cool to smoke cigritts. I know that's not how you spell it but that's how a lot of wt people say it. How do I tell this guy that he's trashy and smells like shite without hurting his feelings?

Tell him to look up the life expectancy of someone diagnosed with lung, nasopharynx, mouth, throat, head, or neck cancer, in addition to lymphoma. Make him look up what a stoma is. Thats excluding the heightened risk for the remainder of his life to asthma, COPD, emphysema, gum disease, and being labeled a former smoker in every health record he will ever be referenced in.
Generally speaking it's not good, any way you slice it. Who knows maybe he enjoys pain and a short life.
