or not travel with infants?

You going home to visit family ? fine.

Need to take care of a sick friend? great.

Taking your infant on a vacation they won't remember? moron.

Also, isn't it kinda cruel to cause such unexplained pain in young children's ears? Depending on the altitude of the flight, my ears normally bother the shite out of me,

I'm sure infants do not enjoy flying. Parents do not enjoy flying with infants. And other guests frickING HATE flying with infants.

So why do it you cocksuckers? (excluding emergencies, those make sense)

Just pretend they are going to see family and clean the sand out of your vagina.

Flew to NYC with my 2 year old, didn't realize he had an infection. Afterwards felt like the worst parent ever.

We always bought an extra ticket and our kids rode in car seat. It worked well.

I always worried if they were just in our laps, that even a hard landing might maim or kill them.

The expense was worth it. My wife sat with the kids if seating was 3x3. I sat with one if 2x2.

Had this problem last time we went from IAH to LFT. Kid was so loud and pissed because the mother was having to restrain him for takeoff. He stopped after about 20 minutes and then took a big ole crap that stunk up the whole plane.

That's a 30 minute flight

Infants I could sympathize with. Toddlers and young kids should be trained enough to not bother others on the plane

What I love about douchebags complaining about children is that YOU'VE BEEN A CHILD. I kinda get how someone can become a racist a-hole or sexist or whatever, but you weren't born a fat uneducated loser - at some point you were a harmless baby. Your parents definitely brought you places as a child. Maybe not a fancy aero-plane, but YOU have been the crying child somewhere.

I fly ever week of my life. There is nothing more miserable than a screaming baby on a plane.

That being said, I haven't heard one in years because I own a decent set of headphones.

If you get on a plane without a good set of noise canceling headphones, that's your fault.

I'm not mad with the babies. They are doing what they do. I.am mad at the ashore parents that are all like "frick yall. We are getting ours and you can deal with it."

You can always drive if you don't like it. Check your white privilege at the door.

Just FYI parents with crying kids are way more embarrassed than you are frustrated/annoyed. Well good parents that is.

Well, they were way more dangerous back when you were a young child.

I fricking hate those parents who try to convince their child to act proper in public. If they are old enough to understand what I'm saying, they're old enough to get an arse whooping.

I don't mind disciplining others' kids, too. Hell, somebody needs to put them in their place. If the parents get mad, I'll discipline them as well.

They should have separate flights for people to take that have infants and those seat kicking little bastards that wont stop when you ask them to.

One I am not going to be that parent who disrupts a restaurant much less a 4 hour flight with nowhere to go. I have been on the reverse side of the equation.

Where the frick did this "keep kids out of public" mentality come from? I'm surprised people like you even have kids.

But the majority of this board will rip a dog-flyer apart while defending a crying infant.

Because crying infants are your flesh and blood, your children, small people and people deserve to fly in the cabin of the plane.

Now your Great Dane "service dog" on the other hand should not be on the plane even though you spent the $45 to get it certified online...

I'm having a baby in less than a month. My wife and I are already planning a trip to D.C. for early November. I hope we sit behind you.
