You're supposed to leave them with someone else. Duh
Then go on your vacation without them. They'll survive.

Had a flight from Honolulu to Houston two months ago. Had a poor mom by herself with a infant. You could cut the tension with a knife when the baby starting crying uncontrollably. I
Probably military. When we were PCS'd to Hawaii we had to fly non-stop from ATL to Honolulu with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Sucked but the kids were pretty good.

Sorry OP that you got the poors and don't own some Bose headphones.
Why should I have to cover my ears on the airplane because you couldn't afford an abortion?

No its wasn't a MAC flight it was continental airlines. I have flown on military flights and yes they are terrible. Flew from Philadelphia to Italy once Worst flight ever.

I can't wait to fly with my 3.5 year old, 2 year old, and 3 month old to Hawaii this winter. Gonna give them a good nap before the flight so they can enjoy the flying experience.

The only times I have taken a MAC flight was to Korea and Kuwait. When we PCS'd to Germany, AZ, WA, and HI it was all regular commercial.

Also make sure to bring only celery and carrots for snacks so they'll be very angry and make everyone near you squirm. That's what I did.

Had this problem last time we went from IAH to LFT. Kid was so loud and pissed because the mother was having to restrain him for takeoff. He stopped after about 20 minutes and then took a big ole crap that stunk up the whole plane.
We have taken our kids with us all over the place. My daughter started traveling with us at about 8 months and was always an angel. It's all about what you bring and have in your arsenal to shut them up. Also, when my daughter was smaller and we were alone I'd choose a seat near the back where it's loud or the bulkhead where the stewardess would see us and take good care of us. Closest to bathroom etc.

I'll tell my wife. I don't care what she feeds them. They'll be in the back. I'm getting upgraded. Hate sitting near kids on a plane.

I've said time and time again that I'd much rather be seated near someone flying with their "therapy dog" than with an infant.
But the majority of this board will rip a dog-flyer apart while defending a crying infant.

My wife wanted to fly to Montana for a vacation when my son was about 1 yo and I put that down. One I am not going to be that parent who disrupts a restaurant much less a 4 hour flight with nowhere to go. I have been on the reverse side of the equation. Two, what the hell are were we going to do on vacation in Montana with a 1 yo.
Going to Montana next month with our 10 month old.
We've been on four flights now without issue.
And you put your kid in a backpack carrier and hike/sightsee. Not that complicated.
