I like the Etihad hard product better.

Can you not fly your private jet in there?
Probably why I have never been.

Lotta work/play opportunities in UAE...
You can live like a real OTer out there.
Just no PDA, drinking in public, and you're better off in US during Ramadan

Emirates. The food is so good. If you can do it on an A-380 DO IT.

Google "Emirates business class review". Do the same for Etihad and Singapore. You really can't go wrong with any of those three, they all rock.

My wife (no pics) and I flew to Dubai on an Emirates A380 in business class on our way to the Maldives. My wife didn't want to leave the plane when we landed in Dubai.

Certainly not on my own dime, I've flown Singapore business class ~10 times over the past 2 years, and their business class is very nice.
I've also had the privilege of flying business class in Emirates.....it is a step above Singapore. The service was much more attentive and the cabin was a bit "nicer" with wooden trimmings, multiple USB and power outlets, extra compartments for your cocaine, etc.
If you're lucky you will sleep most of the way there and both offer lay-flat seats. Like some have said, either is nice but if you have a choice give Emirates your business.
BUT....COME BACK AND REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCE.
Fine print: if you can splurge and get into a suite on Singapore airlines then don't pass it up. I've not flown in one but work with some guys that have. Foot massages as often as you like.

For direct to Dubai go Emirates. I've got a ton of perks tied up in Qatar Airways so I continue to use QA. I'm in Abu Dhabi right now and will be in Dubai on Thursday. When are you going to be here?
