The further away you get from the Mississippi River the better things get, Alabama is when the water starts to get clearer, but the most beautiful beaches in the country? Come on man, those are located on the east and west coast.

Jefferson Parish should give Grand Isle to Lafourche Parish.

I think Florida should take everything back all the way to Baton Rouge, LA, including Mobile, the Alabama beaches, the coast of Mississippi and the Louisiana Florida parishes north of Lake Ponchartrain to the Mississippi River. Better government for all.

Louisiana should give itself to Texas and beg Texas politicians to manage Louisiana like Texas manages Texas. The quality of life in Louisiana, including roads, bridges, schools and Infrastructure would improve the quality of life for the average family of four coonasses 4x.

Siesta Key is one of the top rated beaches in world and it's on the gulf coast.

Or give Alabama beaches to Florida and have Alabama stick to incest and ugly people.

Actually, Florida did give up part of their territory to Alabama so they could have a piece of the coast. Same with Mississippi. Louisiana got some of their territory as well. That’s why some of our parishes are called the “Florida” parishes.

"Florida" didn't give anything up. Spain did, and they didn't "give it up"; Philomon Thomas and a bunch of dudes took over Spanish forts around Baton Rouge and St. Francisville and created the Republic of West Florida (stretching from the Mississippi to the Pearl) back in spring 1810.

By the fall, the United States came to terms with the West Florida group leaders and formally annexed the short-lived republic.

The US annexed and acquired the Mississippi and Alabama portions of West Florida during the War of 1812. Following a Congressional declaration of annexation, U.S. General James Wilkinson sailed from New Orleans to Mobile in April 1813 with a force of 600, whereupon he received the surrender of the Spanish commander.

Spain remained in control of what is now the state of Florida for eight (8) more years. Florida had become a burden to Spain and therefore, they decided to cede the territory to the United States through the Adams–Onís Treaty, which took effect in 1821.

Just make the state of West Florida. It was an historical area that runs from the Louisiana border to Fort Walton Beach.

Technically, you should give your beaches back to West Florida.

It would be awesome for Texas or Florida to take over Louisiana and immediately put us in their tax structure.

There is already a long history behind that area and the fight between Alabama and Florida. Florida obviously won, so I don't see them ever giving it up. It doesn't make sense for them to do so.
