How is this guy out on bail after he and his son shot that guy in Texas over a mattress?

They probably know who you are and depending in the location of said hitch carrier and the angle of the camera they can read the plate since they are high angle cameras.
It is funny DOTD hasn’t done a sting operation with a waiting state trooper for those trying to bypass the toll. They may have done this but just not reported it to the public.
The price is up to 3.75 and will be going higher in the next few years. I just can’t put my hands on how dumb the financing of this project ballooned some of the interest on a government loan.
Also, the down turn in the local economy was not projected in the traffic counts into the projected revenue which was another factor in the escalating toll rate.

Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alejandro Camacho had been off duty when he saw Davis' Chrysler Pacifica pull off the stunt on November 17.
So this off duty officer just decided to start recording a Pacifica before the license plate blocker was even activated? Why? How many of us decide to pull out their phone and start recording random cars passing under tolls?

I bought a new Tundra years back and they put the temp tag in the back window which was tinted and barely visible. Where the real license plate would go they put a plate that had a parrot giving the peace sign. I cant tell you how many times I drove through the toll tag lane on the GNO with that set up and never once received a toll ticket. I laugh just thinking of these people looking at that parrot giving them the peace sign and saying this motherfrickin parrot again.

I forgot to add, there are also driver cameras in addition to the plate readers. So they have your photo too. Funny they don’t try to use facial recognition and match the make and model of your vehicle to find you.
I had to go down there this morning and paid my share through my toll tag. So, I got to see what they had.
I also saw 3 cars parked out there. I wonder how much toll revenue per hour is enough to cover the state workers (wages and benefits) collecting the toll. That doesn’t include the other workers manning the customer service center in Golden Meadow handling new tags and people with fines.

And the penalty?
For accidentally obscuring the view?
