9/10 the parent does not have the full story. His kid is likely a douche too and just wanted some attention.

My son is constantly bullied, has kicked the shite out of the kids who bully him,is still bullied and the school does nothing. I might not agree with this guys methods but I do understand.

Again, some common sense can be used here. Unless he has some history of making these kinds of statements, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that this was just some angry hyperbole.
