I don’t have any history of aggression but if I walk up to my neighbor and tell him if he plays music too loudly again I’m going to kill him and drown his kids, that’s a threat and I can absolutely be arrested for that. You don’t get the benefit of the doubt for statements like that. You’re reacting to this story emotionally because you feel like he’s justified because his kid was bullied.
