The pit bull dogs, Goldie and Ace, were locked up after being accused of attacking a man in his 70’s over the weekend while he was on his nightly walk.

You are right, but the majority of attacks are from pit bulls, see the difference?

So like, 30-40 people a year die from pitbull attacks (although many misidentified) and the OT thinks it's some kind of epidemic. Get a life.

40 out of 58 people that died due to dog attacks in 2017 were attacked and killed by Pit Bulls

Pit Bulls only make up 6% of the dog population...

It is an epidemic

The OT's stupidity on this is becoming an epidemic.

Preliminary “final” 2017 dog attack data from the U.S. and Canada suggests some good news, in that “only” 989 dogs participated in killing or disfiguring humans, down from the 2016 record 1,075.

But the bad news is that those 989 dogs killed 57 people, 11 more than the previous record of 46 who were killed in 2015.

Pit bulls killed 39 people in 2017, 38 in the U.S. and one in Canada, a total of 11 more people than were killed by pit bulls in 2016 and five more than the previous record of 34 killed in 2015.

It’s time to start treating pit bulls as we would if we encountered isis.

The average pit bull owner in my neck of the woods looks a bit different than that. I wonder if the dogs are raised any differently too

Here in the greatest and most educated city in America being the intelligent, open minded people we are we have bite diversion programs. What we have is a muscular dangerous-dog law and a unique bite-diversion program that teaches owners how to control aggressive behavior in their dogs in order to prevent future bites. All dogs must be registered with the city and ones as well trained and obedient as my pit bull are eligible for participation in the voice and sight program to be off leash in designated areas. Wouldn't y'all love being here with the pit bulls running around in the open off leash?

Well there you go, they're just trying to carry out Oprah's wishes. Dude had to be racist and needed to just go ahead and die.

Why are you so obsessed with pits?

I have 2 of the sweetest and most lovable dogs. Everyone who meets them falls in love with them.

Also, all still have all their extremities intact and my dogs didn't do anything except wag their tails and try to lick them.

According to the OT, everyone within a mile radius of this will soon be killed by a pitbull attack because there's no way they can't kill.
