I call this the "Casey Anthony method"
I'm wondering if it's not intentional
The Casey Anthony trial got so sideways..i think UFOs even got mentioned at one point..but became such a circus that reasonable doubt became hard to prove especially when coupled with the apathy by overexposure.
So the gov s office cant control the numbers -specifically the numbers that aren't reported. Right now they arent getting the negative test numbers and someone somewhere seems to be twisting the positive percentages...so make all the numbers useless and go about your lives using common sense.
For the record...I live in a supposed "hot spot" and I still do not know anyone that has tested positive. People I know know people that have but not me directly.

I am going to give you a small anecdotal story why I think it’s bullshite too. Two families of 4 went on vacation a month ago to Lee County. All of the adults and the two 20 year olds tested positive. The two 15 year olds from each family were tested twice and tested negative for corona and also tested negative for antibodies. HTF does that happen when the two families came home in their same vehicles and then self isolated together for a month.

Honestly why tell the truth when the financial incentives are far greater for your hospital/organization and the state is encouraging more and more

If you think hospitals are making more money from Covid than they do from elective procedures you’ve lost your mind, or more likely just ignorant.

I never said that. I know they don’t. But this is about the only way they can make money right now.

So you are telling me, they have been getting back over 30,000 tests per day on average the last month, so 900,000 tests in the last month, but only 17,000 of those tested were under 18?
So only 2% of the tests went to people under the age of 18?

School getting ready to go back for the fall, so yes, the kids need to test positive in order to further screw employment.
Folks need to wake up to the fact that this is all manufactured to some degree.

I think this is the most widely mis-understood thing right now with this whole Covid fiasco. I wish someone could lay out the truth because there is so much BS floating around that I have no clue what to believe.
As an example, a few weeks ago some of the leadership with the Houston area hospitals put out some scary info about how the hospital system was damn near full and the media went nuts with the story.
Supposedly the gov. called them on their BS by saying he was going to issue an order to cancel all elective procedures again if what they were saying was true so that more hospital spaces would be freed up.
The hospital leaders looked at their numbers again and basically said nah we good.
That may not be 100% accurate with how it went down, but that's how I read it.

USA Today did an article about how it is true, hospitals receive 20% additional revenue from Medicare per patient they treat with COVID and COVID like symptoms. Hospitals have confirmed as well.
Additionally, looking back at Florida’s big number day, 333 labs reported 100% of their test came back positive. And that’s just the 100% labs, many more were bad. Orlando health already came out and said their positive rates weren’t 98% like what they reported, it was 9.4%. The VA hospital down here said theirs wasn’t 74% as in the official numbers, but actually 6%. What they aren’t saying is if they didn’t report the negatives at all, or if their numbers are the correct amount of people and they are counting negative test as positive.

This shite is rampant. The Huntsville (AL) Hospital system, which is as close to a monopoly in the area as you can get, has been doing the same shite. Their CEO/head doc has contradicted himself in regards to ICU capacity multiple times. He has also used cumulative hospitalization numbers to make his points. I could provide evidence that his numbers are pulled out of his arse, but I'd have to go back and find articles.
Just yesterday he said HH is down to 14% ICU capacity, and said that hospitalizations are surging. However, the number he quoted 2 1/2 weeks ago was damn near the same as that 14% mark. Nevermind the fact that they own damn near every hospital in the area, thus will naturally get most serious cases. Also, the head doctor at Crestwood hospital recently quoted a 10% hospitalization rate for the area. That isn't true at all. At the time, it was 7.85%, a difference of 294 admitted patients, or damn near 300 beds, which is almost twice as many as her own damn hospital even has.
Look, I recognize the reason for all the bullshite hyperbole. It is an effort to make the general public take things more seriously. I get that. But, they don't have to bullshite the public to get it done. Local news affiliates make it worse by gobbling the bullshite up without questioning it and tweeting out BS story after BS story citing the flawed data they have been fed.
The media is "supposed" to parse out the bullshite. I know sorting fly shite from pepper is a tall task, but at least TRY! That is why I am loving FOX35 Orlando right now. They seem to be the only media outlet in the whole damn country willing to call hospitals and doctors on their bullshite.
