Orlando is now in direct eye path coming in just west putting us in the dirty side. NE quadrant of eyewall coming in as a Cat 2 or minimal Cat 3 about 4-5a

Sustained winds right now are about 50-55 with gusts of 75+ coming more often......

Very light damage here in central Palm Beach county. A few power lines down. I had a large palm tree topple in my front yard. But, really, wasn't much of a storm here.

Made it through okay in Palmetto (just south of Tampa). The rain has stopped but the winds are still pretty high. Just did a quick check of the exterior of the house by flashlight. There appears to be no damage. Also no flooding in our street. The power is out but we do have our water still on. Consider myself tremendously blessed.

Just woke up to power out here in north florida... and reports that flagler county got a similar storm surge to matthew, which was damn near 9 feet. It wrecked 90% of the houses in marineland acres less than 12 months ago. I feel ill if this is true.

My brother and his family in Okeechobee are OK, they were all together with inlaws in the inlaws house. Are heading out later today to check on their place. Expecting it to be damaged.

Pasco County (Zephyrhils) Power has been out for hours and hours and we have some clean up outside to do but other than that , we are just fine.
